Zach Nelson Medical Expenses

Zach (teacher at Hays Middle School) and Leah (RN at Dreiling/Schmidt Cancer Institute) Nelson are high school sweethearts who live in Victoria, KS with their adorable 5 year old son, Drew. They are also expecting a baby girl in May. On the evening of Sunday, January 22, 2017, Zach suddenly went into cardiac arrest. Luckily Leah was able to begin CPR right away. Zach was taken to HaysMed, where a breathing tube was placed, and flown to KU Medical Center. Currently he is stable but they are running many tests trying to figure out what caused his cardiac arrest. So far the tests have been negative. Zach will most likely get a defibrillator placed early next week. The Nelsons are hoping to get some answers. This unfortunate situation is going to result in many expenses for the family in addition to the upcoming birth of their daughter. Please consider giving to this wonderful family.
