Janelle's Recovery

Several words pop into my head when I think of Janelle: 
Empowering. Fearless. Caring. Loving. Weird. Retro. Independent. Gorgeous. Generous. And so on and so forth....to make a comprehensive list would take eons. 

But the word that is driving the GoFundMe is "humble". Janelle pours every ounce of herself into the people she loves, and is constantly giving back to others. It is time that we give back to her. 

Janelle found out in February of this year that she has breast cancer, and will be having a double mastectomy on April 3rd. Due to the service she gave our country, the VA is able to cover most of the medical expenses; what the VA cannot support, her other insurance should be able to cover. 

So this GoFundMe is not to cover medical bills, but instead will go toward alleviating the stress of not being able to work while she is recovering. The last thing anyone should have to worry about while healing is money...

But as I said, Janelle is a giver--even in a time of what most people would consider a crisis, she is still thinking about others. She said any leftover raised funds will be donated to breast cancer research in her Mother's honor.
