Jordies Jar

Hey everyone, as some of you may know our friends Chris and Jen Andrews daughter Jordyn was rushed to Sick Kids on April 6th. Their world was turned upside down within hours, she has been through so much in just one month and has a very long road ahead of her. Jordyn has been diagnosed with a very rare disorder called Acute Necrotizing Encephalitis. We may never know what caused this but we do know that she will need extensive rehabilitation. She is such a strong wee girl and has an amazing support system of people who love her dearly and continue to pray for her. As parents we should never have to watch our children go through such a difficult time.  They are unable to work right now and they shouldnt have to worry about work, bills, gas, food and parking ($10 to $16 a day) all they should have to worry about and focus on is Jordyn and being with her every second of the way and being together as a family. This all started out with a jar in our cupboard that our daughter Claire called "Jordies Jar", we started with spare coffee change, bottle drives and a garage sale but we need more help to take at least the financial worry away from this loving family. From one parent to another, I ask for your generosity, support and prayers for the Andrews family.
