Darnet Dunnam's stage 4 cancer

My name is Ted Dunnam, and my beautiful and loving wife, Darnet, has been stricken with advanced cancer...again.
She has a large mass in the left side of her chest, and we have been to cancer specialists/oncologists/surgeons the last six days trying to aggressively fight this disease. CT scans, ultrasounds, PET scans, MRI's, 3-D mammograms, have all been performed during this time.
However, that is just the beginning of a difficult battle that lies ahead.
For those who know Darnet and myself, you know we always put God first above anything else. We share devotional time together EVERY morning, and we are truly one flesh that cannot be separated.
Darnet is a blessing to everyone she meets, and usually all that is required for that to happen is for her to flash her infectious smile. She is my Jamaican jewel, and has been for almost 20 years.
As gorgeous as my wife is externally, she is infinitely more beautiful inside. She doesn't meet a stranger and everyone is extremely blessed for knowing her. Darnet's heart speaks volumes about her more than anything else.
Darnet and I firmly believe she will be healed, and we are at God's direction.
As for me, I have many friends and acquaintances out there across Texas. I'm currently sports editor of the Pearland and Friendswood Journals and Bay Area Citizen.
I have also worked on the sports staffs at the Lubbock Avalance-Journal, Abilene Reporter-News, Valley Morning Star in Harlingen and at the Alvin Sun.
I am beginning my 40th year in sports writing, but, yes, I'm still on a sports writer's salary.
As all of you know, medical bills amass quickly and often, and like cancer, they don't relent.
You guys all know the purpose of GoFundMe, and we haven't established a goal.
All Darnet and I ask is to give to your heart's content. If that means a prayer, we'll take that above all else. Should you feel to bless us financially, we're extremely grateful.
