Saphara 2018 - Teaching in India

Donation protected
I am a First Year student studying Finance at Queen's University Belfast. I am very grateful to be chosen to return to India with Saphara for a second time, to teach English to deprived children. This is an amazing opportunity.

Saphara is a Northern Irish charity which strives improve education, wellbeing and the rights of girls in India. In the past, the money that has been raised for Saphara has been used to provide midday meals for pupils in school, as well as building classrooms, school toilets and playgrounds  in some of the most deprived areas of India. The lives of these young children have been turned around by giving them the education that they deserve.

I am extremely thankful to be given this life changing experience for the second time. I am asking any of my friends/family if they could help me raise my target of £1100. No donation is too small, and every penny that is raised will be going towards transforming the lives of these young girls and boys.

Any travel expenses will be paid for by myself, so you can be sure that all donations are going straight to Saphara.

If you want to find out more about this amazing charity, please take a look at their website, https://www.saphara.org/

Many thanks, Maeve Higgins
