Capitol Hill School is spearheading the first Geodesic Dome Greenhouse in Calgary. Students, teachers, and community members look forward to sharing and learning in this year round growing space, a part of the school's environmental education curriculum.
We have already raised the $35,000 to build the 26 foot Geodesic Dome. Our last fundraising step is to raise $10,000 towards a Sustainability, Maintenance and Legacy Fund for the Geodesic Dome.
We are required to hold $5,000 in the case of removal of the dome in the future, and $1,000 per year for the next 5 years of annual maintenance.
We cannot move forward and construct the Dome without this fund. Help us build Calgary's Greenest Classroom!
