My fight with Cancer

It was five days after my visit to the doctor. I waited anxiously for the news. I played phone tag with my doctor for a few hours, when he finally emailed me and said, "are you available at 1700 hours? -W". I was mortified.  I continued with my workday, sitting at my desk mindlessly typing emails, walking the halls and going from one meeting to the next.  My workday came to an end, I messaged my husband and let him know I have a pending call with my doctor. We decided we wanted to be with our loved ones when we received the news. It was a horror show and I was in disbelief. My doctor told me I have, high-grade cancer. He gave me a few quick details on what to expect in the next coming weeks. I hung up the phone and looked at my husband. I couldn't hold back, I whaled and cried in his arms. We couldn't say anything for a few minutes, standing there in disbelief... My name is Chris, I am 34 years young, and I have cancer. I have four sons and an amazing husband.
