Help Me Save Breanna?

Donation protected
March 9, 2017 UPDATE:

My daughter, Breanna, is in a Ventilator Care Facility in Graham, Texas. She has Multiple Sclerosis, and is on a ventilator, fighting for her life. She arrived in Graham last October, and I sold what assets I had to move to Graham to be with her, so she doesn't have to go through this tragedy alone.

Breanna is on a feeding tube, and I have been paying $800.00 a month for an organic formula called Liquid Hope, which has literally saved her life. You can learn more about Liquid Hope on their website: http://www.functionalformularies.com/liquid-hope-information.html Please spread the word about this formula to anyone who you think could benefit from it. It could save a life!

Breanna has been away from home, hopitalized and in nursing care since April, 2016. She has suffered numerous times from Pneumonia and aspiration. She cannot swallow or speak and has a tracheotomy. She is paralyzed other than moving her right arm and head. She suffers from seizures due to a Cardiac Arrest on June 17, 2016, which caused Anoxic Brain Injury. She also suffers from terrible tremors. I am heartbroken, and I want to help her in any way that I possibly can.

I have spent thousands of dollars for her medical treatments over the last several months, which are not covered by her health insurance. I hired a Nutritionist to help build her strength up. She can now lift her head and responds to us by shaking her head  for yes and no, which she could not do when she arrived in Graham last October.

I also hired an Autoimmune Specialist two months ago who ordered immunity tests from Cyrex Labs. http://joincyrex.com/  Her tests results show that she has Mercury and Heavy Metal Toxicity, caused by our toxic world, which lowered her immunity to the point that she cannot fight off the parasites, viruses and bacteria the way that a healthy person can. She has a serious blood infection that antibiotics cannot treat. The Dr. that I hired just started her on a two month detox program to help build up her immunity, treat the blood infection, and regain strength. We are praying that this helps her, because the Dr. said that she has the worst case of Autoimmunity that he has seen in his career since 1974.

My funds are running too low for comfort. My heart will not let me leave her here alone. She will need ongoing testing and supplements that are expensive and not covered by insurance. Our home is in the DFW area, but when she is able to wean off of the vent, I cannot take her there due to mold issues in the home.

A man in Fort Worth has been kind enough to donate a mobile home to put on our land. I found his ad on Craigslist. We have a quote for $5,000 to move and set it up. While this is a HUGE blessing, I cannot risk spending the money because I need to stay with her and be able to afford her medical necessities. We also NEED a home, so I am very torn.

Here's the mobile home:

I am running out of time to get the mobile home moved onto our property, so that she has a safe home to go back to. I 'm cautious about spending $5,000 right now because I can't leave her, she needs furthur tests, the Liquid Hope and healing supplements. The owner said that he will bulldozing it soon! I hope I can delay him for another week, raise enough to help, or find another company who will help move it for less.

Please find it in your heart to pray for my beautiful daughter. She's only 26 and fighting for her life. If you can afford to donate, please know that I will use all funds to get her the best care possible.

Thank you for taking the time to read her story. Thank you in advance, for any donation that you can afford to give. It will literally help save Breanna's life, allow me to stay out of town with her while she's on the ventilator, and hopefully get the mobile home moved very soon.

God bless you all, who pray, send well wishes and donate to help save Breanna's life! She would want me to say THANK YOU to everyone who cares, prays, and can help.

BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL!

Sincerely,

Christine, Breanna's mother

Original Fundraiser:

Hello! My name is Christine and my daughter, Breanna, has Multiple Sclerosis. Scroll down a bit to learn more about Breanna's current medical condition.

Learn more about MS on the National Multiple Sclerosis Society web site

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. It is thought to be an immune-mediated disorder, in which the immune system incorrectly attacks healthy tissue in the central nervous system.

MS can cause many symptoms, including blurred vision, loss of balance, poor coordination, slurred speech, tremors, numbness, extreme fatigue, problems with memory and concentration, paralysis, and blindness and more. These problems may come and go or persist and worsen over time. Breanna has experienced them all, and more, with the exception of going blind.

The purpose of this GoFundMe campaign is to raise money for Adult Stem Cell Treatment for my daughter. Insurance does not cover this treatment, although there are many federally funded Clinical Trials happening NOW, that are sigificantly improving the health of those who suffer from auto immune disorders, and are even CURING people who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis.

There is a Medical Center in California called Stemgenex that performs what is called "Adult Stem Cell Treatment."

Stemgenex is The Premiere Leader in The United States for Regenerative Medicine.

Three Day Treatment
Adult Stem Cells  are derived from the patient's own Adipose (fat), via mini-liposuction from the stomach.

Medical Terminology
This stem cell treatment is designed to target the myelin sheath by introducing adult mesenchymal stem cells past the blood brain barrier so they may differentiate into and repair the myelin sheath nerve cells. This process is called remyelination. Further, being that Multiple Sclerosis is an auto-immune condition, adipose (fat) derived mesenchymal stem cells have the ability to repair the immune system; keeping it from attacking itself. This process is referred to as immunomodulation. Through remyelination and immunomodulation, Stemgenex works toward improving the quality of lives of patients dealing with Multiple Sclerosis.

Breanna's Representative at Stemgenex has informed me that Stem Cell Treatment will not be FDA approved for at least three more years. In other words, medical insurance will not cover the treatment until it is FDA approved. Breanna simply does not have "three years, or more", to wait.

This is why I am here, on GoFundMe, asking for your help.

Treatment and Medical Bills:
Breanna is currently in ICU in the hospital on an ET (Tracheal Tube) into her lungs, due to severe pnuemonia.  She's been in ICU since April 5, 2016.
All medical expenses may not be covered by Breanna's medical insurance for her current hospitalization.

Stem Cell Treatment + Hotel Accomodations + Transporation Services = $14,900 - This is the standard cost for the Stem Cell Treatment for Multiple Sclerosis at Stemgenex.  Breanna will need a "Double Dose" of Stem Cells, which costs $5,000 extra, due to the progression of her MS. Treatment is tailored to each patient's specific needs. Breanna may require both a "Full Body IV",  AND "Direct Site Injections" to the most damaged areas of her body.

Total cost for her treatment will be $19,900.  That does not include airfare, so we are also raising funds for three round-trip airfare tickets to San Diego Airport from DFW, so we can assist in Breanna's care during the treatment.

Breanna may also require specialized (ambulatory) transport services to and from the airport, and back and forth from the hotel and hospital, which could cost extra.

This is my daughter's chance at possibly getting CURED from Multiple Sclerosis.

It has robbed her of her health, and quality of life. She is only 25 years old.

THIS IS HER STORY...

Breanna was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in April of 2011 at the age of 20, just before her 21st birthday. At the time of her diagnosis, she was working full time, had completed a couple of semesters of college, and rented her own apartment. She was SMARTFIESTY, and FULL OF LIFE. (Not to mention, beautiful!)

Growing up, Breanna was a very gifted child, made good grades in school, and excelled in everything she did. She was advanced to the Senior Theater Class in the 9th grade after auditioning for the drama teacher. She was a very talented actress, and could memorize her lines easily. She had a passion for acting, and  was a natural on stage. She also aspired to be a fashion model.

Other than occassional allergies, Breanna was never sick growing up.

I wanted to share that history before explaining how Multiple Sclerosis has affected her life, from the time of her diagnosis. Breanna has been hospitalized numerous times over the last 5 years, due to complications that Multiple Sclerosis has caused.

4/11/16
Breanna is currently in ICU in the hospital on an ET (Tracheal tube) to her lungs, due to severe pnuemonia.
She has been in ICU since April 5th. The quicker we can raise funds for this treatment, the better. The treatment will work more effectively, the less her disease progresses. Breanna's decline in health has mostly occured over the last year, so she will be a perfect candidate for Stem Cell Treatment, especially because she is young.

This is the third time she has been hospitalized in the last year. I am very concerned because the first hospitalization occured in July, 2015 of this last year, and she was admitted for an entire month. The second hospitalization occured from December 7th to January 7th, 2015, also an entire month. During her hospital stay throughout the holidays, she suffered from several life threatening conditions: Swallowing difficulty, Aspiration, Pnuemonia, Sepsis (a blood infection), Kidney Failure, and Surgery. Luckily, and by the grace of God, she did not have to undergo Kidney Dialysis. Because she apsirated, she was taken off of all solid foods, and had surgery for a PEG (stomach) tube, to receive liquid nutrition. She can no longer drink or eat.

Upon her release from the hospital in January, I was trained on how to give Breanna tube feedings. I also ordered a Nurse and Physical Therapy for her at home. I am also VERY fortunate to work for a Home Healthcare Agency, so that I am able to stay home and take care of her.  The only downside to my "job" is that when Breanna is hospitalized, I also lose my income.

This is Breanna at home last month in March, with her Physical Therapist.  Photo courtesy of my mom. THANK YOU, MOM!

Breanna can no longer speak, drink, eat, stand, walk, or take care of herself in any way. She suffers from severe tremors,  grinds her teeth excessively, and suffers from many more MS related physical issues.

Other than transfers to her potty chair, shower chair, wheelchair and to the car, she has been bedridden for almost two years now.

Stem Cell Treatment Can Help Breanna Regain Her HEALTH and LIFE Back.

All of the FDA approved medications for MS simply "slow the progression" of the disease, have many adverse side effects, and more importantly ARE NOT A CURE for Multiple Sclerosis. Breanna has been on monthly Tysabri Infusions for many months during the progression of her disease, which have helped, but will never actually CURE her.

Tysabri Infusion - October 24, 2011

As her mother, I am devestated. I have slowly watched my daughter's health deteriorate before my eyes over the last five years. I cannot think of anything more painful to witness, because it is a completely helpless feeling, knowing that you are doing your best, while witnessing your child suffer, with a very poor quality of life.

Stemgenex staff are waiting for us to release Breanna's medical records to them, to accept her into the treatment program. Breanna does not have the time to wait for their approval, because she is currently hospitalized. Stemgenex has their own fundrasing program, but if for some reason Breanna is not accepted into their program, we will find another way for her to get Stem Cell Treatment elsewhere. That is why it is crucial to go this route, with GoFundMe, to get the financial assistance that she so desperately needs, underway NOW, especially because she is hospitalized again.

Thank you all very much for taking the time to read about Breanna. She is only 25, and deserves a shot at a life FREE FROM MS.

MS is a terrible, painful, and debilitating disease, that no one should ever have to endure. My heart goes out to the MANY people who suffer from MS, their Families, Caregivers, and Friends. May God give you all strength, and help you find the CURE once and for all. Stem Cell Treatment may be YOUR answer to a CURE for MS!

If you are kind enough to donate to help Breanna, please know that we BOTH THANK YOU VERY MUCH.  No donation is too small. Words will not explain the gratitude that I know we will feel with your help, prayers and support.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Sincerely,
Christine, Breanna & Family
