Hi there!
So last year I got a diagnostic of fibromyalgia at my young age of 22 years old, and since then I have been trying to get my life back together and start to work again after a whole year of being stuck in bed or at the hospital...
Fortunately, I got an amazing job offer at my old work in British Columbia, so I decided to move out there from Montreal with my puppy Oona, last september. After a few weeks there only, I started getting sicker and sicker, not fibromyalgia kinda sick... it was different this time.
So I was in and out of the hospitals out there, but they weren’t really willing to help me since I didn’t have my BC residency yet (you can only apply after 3 months of living there), I had to pay every hospital bills I got, but nobody was able to tell me what was wrong, all they though I had was the flu... After 13 days of not being able to eat or drink a single drop of water/food, I had no choice but to take the first flight back to Quebec, leaving all my belongings,,my car and my life there. I got admitted less then 12 hours later by ambulance in my hometown’s hospital where I had to stay for several days.
Results: I had a failing liver, due to an intoxication from my prescribed medication to treat my fibro..
I decided to stop every medication I was taking and try to handle my chronic desease the more natural way with a very strict life balance and routine.
I went through withdrawal for about a month after, which then lead to crazy amount of pain, and all the mental/physical side effects that fibro causes.
I manage to be able to start working again last month, but there’s a limit on how many hours a day I can do because of my condition, which doesn’t allow me to save much, since I have to pay back all my hospital bills, medications bill (that went as high as 900$ a month for a few months), and my move across country.
All I’m asking is enough money to pay for a plane ticket or bus ticket to go back to Vancouver, get my car and my stuff back and finally start moving on..
