Yuki Koike Lee Support

On Friday morning,  July 13, 2018, JC (Joochan) Austen Lee and two other gentlemen were killed in a plane crash near Spokane, Washington. Austen was a student in the aviation program of Moody Bible Institute.

Austen's wife, Yuki, will need our prayers and support as she journeys through grief, but also as she prepares for the birth of their first baby, who is due early next year.

Here are Yuki's own words in memory of her beloved husband:

"My heart is broken and can’t seem to comprehend what is going on just yet.

Austen is a very kind, loving, passionate and determined man, and I couldn’t have asked for a better man in my life.

I would like to ask everyone to please pray for me, his family, and the families of other two, that we would find hope and light in the midst of this great sorrow.

The only things that are holding me up are God’s words, people’s support, knowing that the three are in a better place, and the new life God has given inside of me.

Austen, two years I spent with you were the best days of my life. And I can’t believe you are gone. But I know God is literally patting your back saying, “well done, faithful servant. You may rest now,” and there will be no tears nor pain for you anymore.

I believe in the power of the gospel and the healing that only God can bring, and that He will show His wonder through this tragedy.

I love you and I miss you. I probably won’t stop crying for years thinking about you. But I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for the love, sacrifice, laugh, dreams and the memories you’ve given me. You have completely changed me, and I’m so so grateful for that. I will see you soon and we will be together again in the presence of God.

수고했어요 애기야 Please rest well."
