Help for Kylee

Let me start by saying.... this is by far the most difficult process any parent should EVER have to endure. Kylee is a beautiful, bright eyed, intelligent, silly, thoughtful and most caring and sincere 12 year old girl you've ever met...

Back in December 2014, Kylee was involved in Storm cheerleading and tumbling and began to complain of periodic headaches. Christa took her to have an MRI where it was found that she had a benign but aggressive tumor on/near her brain stem. Due to the location it was deemed inoperable and they were told that radiation would be the best option to shrink it. It shrunk 85-90%, but at the end of September 2015 they found what they believed was slight regrowth. It was possible it was inflammation from radiation but due to the onset of symptoms of right sided weakness and a change in Kylee's speech pattern, Kylee was put on a medication to control swelling and had to be kept out of school... Due to the lack of options in the United States, they have found a very promising treatment protocol overseas. The treatment lasts for three weeks and being in a foreign country, they do not accept insurance and it is very costly. The cost of the treatment is approximately $50,000... Christa has been out of work since October, and has been very hesitant about coming forth with this, as she wanted to protect Kylee's privacy. Christa being my best friend and Kylee being my niece, I am wanting to do everything I can to help them!! I ask that you please pray for Kylee and for a full recovery... And pray for the family. They have talked to several people whose children have had the same treatment and the children are doing wonderful!!! Time is of the essence and they have had to borrow money in order to expedite the treatment... Christa is completely devastated by this... Kylee is Christa and Johnny's whole world and they would do anything possible to protect her, as would any parent!!! Christa is a very private person and has been very hesitant in asking for help. Please consider her emotional state of mind right now.
