TUI Digital Marketing Team Marathon
The Digital Marketing team here at TUI have decided to go a bit extreme this year with our annual 'discovery day'. Every year TUI gives all employees the chance to go and help out a local charity or place of your choice for the day. However... the digital marketing team have decided to do a walking marathon beside the Thames. Although the pain will be great, we know we will all finish for the great causes we are fundraising for.
As a hospice, Keech provide on-going, wide-ranging support that focuses on the whole person; they also extend their support to your family and friends as they too are going through a difficult time. All their staff are trained specifically in the needs of people who have a progressive condition and they offer very individualised care.
A few words from Keech Hospice: '2016/17 was a remarkable year: we cared for 2,139 children and adults; we provided 1,810 sessions of support therapy; 1,543 wonderful volunteers gave around 189,300 hours of their time.'
Therefore on the 29th of November, with a little bit of hard work, tears and broken soles on our shoes, we can add a little bit of value to an extremely beautiful cause.
