Sammy's Surgery

Sammy is our 3-year-old Maltese/Poodle mix who was always full of energy and constantly jumping/running full of excitement. He's full of personality and always can brighten up anyone's day. Recently, he suffered what seemed to be a minor injury on his back. He started to get quieter and limited himself to strictly walking. The next day however, in a matter of hours, he went from walking to losing complete functioning in his back legs, making him unable to walk. We rushed him to the hospital and it turned out he had a severe problem in his lower back, specifically a spinal disc of some sort. This requires immediate surgery, and regardless of the surgery, it is still a 50/50 chance he will be able to walk. Of course, without hesitation, we opted to have him go through the procedure to help him in any way possible to stop the pain. 
Unfortunately though, between the medical visits and procedure, it is going to be quite a costly result. We (as in myself and the rest of my family) normally don't like to ask for things like this but we really don't have a choice as the medical bill is going to be an overwhelming amount for us to pay and really just puts us in an overall tough financial position. Sammy means everything to us and he is part of our family, just like anyone else's pet would mean to them, and it would mean so much if we could raise money in the coming weeks and months from here to help. He's always brightened up our days for the three years that we have had him, and we want to help him in any way possible. Any amount donated to us/him would mean the world and would go strictly to the medical costs associated with his procedure. Thank you for taking the time to read this post we appreciate it greatly.
