Wheelchair Van for Peyton

Peyton is a 17 year old young man. He is the oldest of 4 children. He has 2 brothers and one sister. Parker 13, Paige 11, and Pryce 8. He loves shopping, going to sporting events and eating out. Peyton has an excellent personality and a great smile. Peyton was born by emergency c-section  and spent his first 30 days in Children's Hospital. He has severe Cerebral Palsy and seizure disorder. He weighs 95 lbs and requires total care and is confined to a wheelchair. He is trialing a loaned power wheel chair that he operates with a head switch with the hope that he will one day get his own power wheelchair. He loves operating it so much as it gives him independence that he has never had.  Unfortunately we can not transport a power chair at all and even transporting his manual chair is nearly impossible.  His mother had a brain aneurysm 2 years ago which required brain surgery and loading him (100 lbs.) and his manual wheelchair (60 lbs.) have became extremely difficult for her and us. If we had a wheelchair accessible van it would make Peyton's life and his care for him so much easier and offer him more opportunity to trial a power chair so that he could one day get his own.  It would allow us to continue to provide him a normal life and be involved with his siblings, cheering them on at their ball games, and opportunities to do the things he loves as well as the things he needs, such as doctors visits and visits for speech therapy (he is also trying to get his own communication device as he is non- verbal). Although Peyton doesn't talk he is very social and understands everything that is going on around him which makes it difficult when there are times that everyone cannot go.  Peyton's parents are hard workers, his father is a journeymen plumber and his mother is a First Grade teacher.  They work very hard to provide the care and essential needs for their family.
