Do you want to support a loved one in having new, educational experiences? Do you want to provide opportunities to others? Would you like to support a growing community? Are you a Zionist? Do you have way too much money, but nothing to do with it?
If your answer to any of the preceding questions was "yes," then please consider supporting the entire Machaneh Gesher, 70th kvutzah in going on the Machaneh Bonim B'Israel trip in the summer of 2018.
Habonim Dror is a worldwide, Jewish youth movement, in operation since 1935. In North America, there are six summer camps dispersed across the continent, each one containing likeminded Jewish Youth. In the summer leading up to Madatz (Councillor in training,) all campers of the age spend a summer in Israel, meeting each other, growing as jews, as a community, as thinkers, and as people.
This Israel trip is known as MBI-- Machaneh Bonim B'Israel. While all movement members are expected to and feel excited to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience, the $8456 (CAD) fee of the trip is too high of a cost for kvutzah members to afford. Gesher's 70th kvutzah is working to instill fundraising initiatives into this year, in an effort to ensure that each and every member of our kvutzah gets an equal opportunity.
Any donation is appreciated-- whether it be a donation of money, a "share" of the fundraiser link on social media sites, or spreading the word about providing equal opportunity to each and every person. Donations are distributed equitably throughout the kvutzah.
