Youth Development Study Abroad in Ireland

I am currently in my last year at the University of Florida, working toward my degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences. I have been offered an opportunity to study abroad in Ireland. This educational service-learning experience will take place in the summer of 2019. The study abroad opportunity will complete my degree program and will allow me to graduate upon my return. I am hoping to raise $10,000 to help cover the expenses associated with this opportunity.
This is a six-week service learning program working with youth and community-based organizations in Galway and Gweedore, Ireland. This program will provide training in youth development, program planning, and offer other learning opportunities while being immersed in the Irish culture.
I am asking for your partnership on my educational journey. A donation of any amount will help support this learning opportunity. Your donation will go toward the class credits, air fare, travel expenses, and additional expenses accumulated during my stay in Ireland.
While studying in a different culture, I will gain knowledge, perspectives, and experiences to use as I continue my work with youth in our community through volunteering, coaching, and future work endeavors. With this study abroad experience, I can better serve families and work towards increasing positive youth development, locally.
