Youth Camping Trip 2018

Every year WRAP offers a camping trip to all the Youth members of the Burmese community living in the City of Worcester.
This year we are going to Camp Wilmot in beautiful Wilmot, New Hampshire, which has over 200 acres of camping opportunities.
WRAP is bringing 35 youth and mentors to Camp Wilmot on July 30th-August 1st for a three day, two night stay in cabins and tents.
The registration cost for 35 people is $1500, plus the cost of food, transportation, insurance, and supplies. All funds raised will go directly to pay for this camping trip experience.
As a founding member of WRAP, and the granddaughter of the founders of Camp Wilmot, I am very excited to have both organizations collaborate for an incredible opportunity for the Burmese refugees to escape the noise and confinements of the city and become engaged in the beauty and serenity of nature. The youth will have the opportunity to swim and kayak in the pond, hike a mountain or one of the many trails, challenge themselves on the ropes course or archery practice, enjoy a campfire and evening reflection, and relax in sights and sounds of nature.
