Your Date Project is about reflecting on life, on the day we all share, our birthdays.
We created a social experiment where we interview people from all walks of life, teenagers to centennials, police officers to public figures. We will have one episode release every day of 2018, where the episode's release date corresponds with the birthday of the featured person.
For example, someone's birthday on March 3 will have his/her episode releasing on March 3rd, 2018.
Our videos started releasing on January 1, 2018 and will span the entire year, with hopes for it to grow to a bigger series encompassing multiple locations around the world going into 2019.
This is a fully self-funded project, and releasing one episode a day is an immense amount of work. There are a lot of costs that go into making this series (from hard drives to cameras, artists to editors). Every dollar helps to make us accomplish a goal of releasing one video a day, and hopefully towards our bigger goal of making this something bigger than we are. Something that can connect people.
