Your Past Does Not Define Your Future

I am a 24 year survivor of some of the worst domestic violence. It took me many years to get where I am today. I have not let my past define me, instead I have let it fuel my desire to help others. There are many woman and men who need mentoring and other assistance after they leave an abusive relationship. Their own scars and battles within continues for years. Many fall into cycles that continously repeat. Allowing them to think their past defines them.

I want to write and publish a book about how I broke out of that cycle and mentor other survivors. I want to have a greater impact on people then I do now. I want to be booked as a keynote speaker on domestic violence in the workplace, how to survive and thrive after domestic violence, and how to not let your past define your future.

Your support would mean I could help the millions of survivors of domestic violence (1 out of 3 women, 1 out of 4 men, 50% of the LGBTQ community that experience it). I want them to not be afraid to speak up, because we will no longer be silent. 20% of high school girls experience domestic violence before they graduate high school. We need to educate everyone and every age that can comprehend the material what the signs of domestic violence are so they do not become victims of domestic violence.

I would like to raise the money quickly as I have a publisher and advisor ready to work with me. I would be forever greatful and so would the people I would be helping.
