My name is Birhanu Agonafir, my child Gelila Birhanu was diagnosed with Blood Cancer at Black Lion Hospital. She is a 7 year old child. Now she has been treated in Jima Hospital Cancer follow-up department in room 03 block D. Even though she has been getting a treatment at Jima Hospital, I was told she needed a Bone Marrow Transplant. Since this kind of treatment is not possible in Ethiopia, the board of physicians decided she needs to go outside of Ethiopia and get a transplant. Through correspondence we have with different hospitals in India we have been informed this kind of treatment will cost between 1,400,000 to 1,600,000 Bir (~$55,000). Financially I am not capable of covering this cost. I am asking everyone to help me and praying to God to make my child miracle possible.
