Young Mother Gone Too Soon

Donation protected
Amanda flew home to be with her stillborn infant son Colton on June 25, 2018.   Amanda was only 30 years old; she was a stay at home mom and left behind two young children, ages 3 and 8.  Her Husband works out of town and not home often, sometimes he would be gone all week or more due to the nature of his job.

Amanda loved and cared for her children fiercely.  You can tell by the pictures the love between her, the children and her husband.  She was a wonderful wife and mother.   Her husband, Brandon now is off work dealing with the tragedy of unexpectedly losing his young wife, of being a single father, finding a new place to live,  paying current bills and car payments, who will care for the children while he works,  will he even be able to return to the same job since he was never home, who will help raise the children,  the children have pets, that at this point they may not be able to keep, the list is endless.   They are staying with a friend and sometimes a family member until a new living situation can be figured out.  All of this with the shock of losing such a young loving Mother who took care of her family so sweetly.

They are not able to return to their home, because on the night of June 25, depression tightened it's  hold on her and Amanda took her life, the children were home in bed at the time.   The children heard commotion and are going to need extensive counseling and support.   Depression is such a taboo subject at times, and some people are  unable to reach out for help.

Amanda was a blessed wife, mother, daughter, and friend to many. Amanda's smile was contagious, anyone she came in contact with couldn't help but feel her love and compassion for her friends and family.   She was always there for someone if they needed anything.   Amanda will be missed beyond measure.

We are asking for funds to help sustain the family with basic living and other expenses that are needed since it is going to be a long while before Brandon can return to work after this tragic event.

You are urged to please share this with all of your friends and family.  Not only to help out Brandon and his 2 young children who have been left with out a Mother.  But to be aware that depression is all around us and can strike anyone of our family members or friends at anytime.
