YOU Give A Schmidt

Jeff and Tammy Schmidt along with their two kids lost their apartment and all their belongings this weekend to a fire. Jeff and his family have to deal with creating a new life while waiting for renters insurance to step in. As most people know renters insurance is not the same as home owners insurance. They won't cover it all and they will do everything they can to not payout more then they need to. 

Jeff met Tammy  while filming MTV's The Challenge in South Africa, he fell in love and convinced her to move to America and start a life together. They have since had two wonderful children and both of them were born in this Hollywood apartment. This is their home. This was their everything.  Now it's gone. These apartments in Hollywood are old and there are lots of issues with asbestos and lead in the paint. A large 3-alarm fire, plus the smoke brings all these hidden elements out and soaks them into everything. Clothes, furniture, everything they own except for the clothes on their backs were ruined, hell even his computer cable still stinks.
