Delilah's Veterinary Bills

Delilah is my miracle rescue pup. She came home from the shelter as the perfect dog in September 2008. House trained, snuggly, sweet and got along perfectly with my other dog.  (Above: Delilah at the shelter, before coming home. Below: Serina and Delilah)

We lost her 'sister' Serina to cancer 4 years ago so when the first lump appeared I panicked. With all my own health issues, losing Serina was heart breaking. This couldn't be happening again.  Delilah's my best friend and always by my side. My friends and family have gotten use to Delilah coming everywhere with me. 

In October 2014 Delilah had that lump removed. It was located in a tough location, on her backside. I waited for days after with the hopes that it would be begign.  It was a mass cell tumor and was not begnign as I'd hoped.

I've spent months checking that location every day and hoping it wouldn't return. 
In May another small lump appeared very near the last. Shes prown to bug bites due to her short fur so I watched it for a few days hoping it wouldn't be what I feared but it didn't disappear. 

My vet and I feel it's in her best interest to have this lump removed and biopsied.  Her surgery is scheduled for Monday, July 13th.  

Unfortunately, after spending more then $2,000 on the last surgery I'm desperately working to come up with ways to earn the money for this surgery.
