On Saturday June 23rd Samantha set out for a day in nature at Greenbrook Sanctuary, however the day turned tragic when Samantha fell 75 feet down a cliff and had to be rescued by the Palisades Interstate Parkway Regional Response team. She was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with severe injuries. Our immediate focus is on providing all the support that we possibly can to Samantha and her family to help them get through this unbelievably challenging time. We know there are many of you who will want to help in any way possible. This page will help with the cost of the hospital bills and any medical equipment needed for when Samantha comes home to help her recover from this terrible accident.
As some of you may know Samantha has been battling Lupus for over 5 years now. Throughout this long battle she has had to face many life changing challenges to be able to cope living with this disease and still being able to live her life as she would normally like to. Due to this pre-existing condition, Sam has battled with healthcare coverage eligibility, and has covered much of her medical expenses out of pocket. She has just recently been enrolled in state health insurance, however they will not cover most of the expenses of this injury.
This is the official fundraiser for Samantha Sfreddo, a very close friend to all of us all who is in need of our help. Samantha is a mother, a wife, and a daughter who loves the outdoors and is lover of all creatures great and small. Samantha would do anything to help anyone at anytime and we are praying for a full recovery.
Love one another and help others to rise to the higher levels, simply by pouring out love. Love is infectious and the greatest healing energy.
