Health & Financial Difficulties

Donation protected
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who helped me raise $3336 to avoid eviction.  My name is Priscilla & I am 35 years old and have 3 beautiful girls 11,4 & 2. I had a stroke on January 19, 2018, during which I suffered 80% blockage in my Carotid Artery. Because of the gravity of my situation, I had to be transported from Flagler Hospital in a helicopter to Orlando by which time the blockage had reached 100% resulting in my brain not getting any blood flow.  The Dr had to perform emergency surgery and place 6 stents going from the Carotid Artery to the brain. Then in June, they put the 7th stent in the brain because I still wasn’t getting enough blood flow. After I thought the worst was behind me, I had 2 more strokes in July. I have since seen Vascular Surgeons, Rheumatologists, Neurologists, Hematologists and more to try to understand what’s happening to me without much luck.  I did, however, discover that I have 2 hernias that need surgery. One surgeon has described the treatment of the hernias as risky because I would need to be off Brilenta (medicine for my stroke) and he thinks doing for 3-5 days may give me another stroke. The Rheumatologist told me I have to do blood work every 3 weeks because I may not be getting blood flow to one of my kidneys. She also diagnosed me with muscular dysplasia & that affected my tissues & cells & organs. It has been very stressful for me & my family not only my deteriorating health but financially.  The stroke has placed limitations on me which means nobody will hire me. Specifically: my thought process is extremely slow, my balance is off,I get very bad headaches, after walking just a little I need to sit down to catch my breath, and I can’t speak clearly or without repeating myself. It's been a very hard journey for me and my children who see me so exhausted but I still try to keep going. Bills keep coming in & my ex-husband doesn’t help at all with the kids so that I can heal, he doesn’t even pick them up as by court order. My mom had been helping me out with the kids but she recently passed away unexpectedly which has been heartbreaking and unbearable.  She was a pillar that helped prop me up during these dark days and without her, I feel even less hopeful. I get late water bills, electric bills which I have gone to church’s for helping with those bills but they can only help every 6 months. I am very blessed to not end up in a wheelchair but if anyone can find it in their hearts to make any amount donation to help me with health bills & living expenses I would be forever grateful & that would help my children see a less stressful mother. My old 2006 car broke down & don’t have any money to pay for repairs.I truly believe that I’m still around because I have a purpose in life but sometimes I feel there is no light at the end of a dark tunnel. I try to be a great mom for my girls and do the best I can but sometimes it’s very difficult when you are feeling so sick. I try to be positive but when test results come back & they find something else wrong it is a little hard.I want to be around to see my children grow up but sometimes I think what if I do get another stroke & that frightens me.I can sense my children are stressing cause sometimes they see me cry & they start to hug me & tell me they love me very much.I know there are good & caring people in this world that will help me with any amount of donation & from the bottom of my heart I thank you.
