Help Scottie get to grad school!

Hello dears, my name is Scott Bradford (aka Scottie Elton Bradford-Lamay). I am a queer, poz, first generation student and live in Minnesota. This fall I am returning to Tucson, Arizona where I will complete my last two years of coursework for my PhD in Gender and Women's Studies.
In February of 2014 I unexpectedly tested positive for HIV. Considering that my work is around queer theory and critical HIV studies, and that graduate school is stressful with or without a chronic condition, I opted to take a year medical leave from school to reassess my approach to academia, my intentions, and really whether I wanted to complete my graduate degree to begin with.
Fast forward one year to the present. I am enrolled for a full time courseload in the Gender and Women's Studies Department (GWS) at the University of Arizona and have signed my contract to assist in teaching an intro GWS course for the fall term of 2015. Once I arrive in Tucson I will have a home and paid employment. However, at present I have been living paycheck to paycheck between the cost of student loans, medical expenses and general living expenses.
In order to move back to Tucson I need to raise money to cover the cost of moving expenses and for partial rent and deposit for my first month back in the desert (that is until I get my first paycheck and my financial aid).
The budget I have worked out goes as follows:
Rental truck with gas: ~$1400 (absurdly expensive, but this is the best price my travel partner and I have found)
Pro-rated rent on my apt in Minneapolis: $200
Pro-rated rent on and deposit on my apt in Tucson: $325.
Total =$1925
Please share what you can and help me to circulate this. While my goal is set for $1450 I wouldn't mind going over but am most definitely not expecting to. All help is appreciated. xoxo
