Dear Brothers & Sisters,
My name is Samia Salih Muselem from Toronto, Ontario !
I have created this Gofundme page to help the people and children of Yemen who are currently experiencing one of the most horrific humanitarian crisis of our time.
Please help me raise money to send, this will help with food and medical supplies. I can no longer sit and continue to watch what is happening to our Muslim brothers and sisters who are starving and in need of our aid. Nothing is too small to give when giving charity and NO WEALTH WILL DECREASE BY GIVING CHARITY!
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.”

In this blessed month of RAMADAN gain the good deeds and happiness of helping others less fortunate. RAMADAN is a time in which we attain TAQWA(Piety) and asking for forgiveness, what better way then to please Allah by helping those most in need.
If we could count our blessings ...we would never be able too.
Praise be to Allah Ar-Razzaq (The Provider) that we have our health, wealth and meals at Iftaar time. Huge blessings that those in Yemen do not have.
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever gives charity equal to a date from good (halal) earnings – for Allaah does not accept anything but that which is good – Allaah will take it in His right hand and tend it for the one who gave it as any one of you tends his foal, until it becomes like a mountain.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1344; Muslim, 1014.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE GIVEN TO ISLAMIC RELIEF CANADA who are on the ground in 18 of the country’s 22 governorates, providing medical support and urgent food aid.
ISLAMIC RELIEF CANADA is the best way to ensure our donations reach those most in need of this money in'sha'Allah (God willing) Crowdfunding was the best option to gather as much money in order to make a huge difference in our efforts to help the people and children of Yemen.
To be clear with all donators, I will be withdrawing these funds and transferring them to ISLAMIC RELIEF CANADA VIA ONLINE BANKING. Each time I donate the money I will post a CONFIRMATION RECEIPT in the UPDATES as PROOF that payments have been handed to the correct party. I intend on doing this for every $500 to $1000 we reach because we want this money to reach Yemen during the month of RAMADAN IN'SHA'ALLAH (God Willing)!
