Yellow Ribbon Fund $1 Mil Goal

This year we need to raise a total of $247,000 to reach our total goal of $1 million raised!
The military provides world-class medical care for wounded, ill and injured service members. But sometimes gaps open up between the support the military can provide, and the support the injured and their families need.
The Yellow Ribbon Fund helps fill the gaps throughout the recovery process, from hospital to hometown.
Whether they’re recovering in the Washington, DC, area at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, or back in their home communities, YRF provides real support for real heroes.

Help us reach our ten year goal of raising $1 million dollars on behalf of the Yellow Ribbon Fund. In years past we have raised a total of $753,000 for YRF.
Your donation will help provide: family caregiver programs, hotel rooms & apartments, rental cars & taxi rides, mentoring programs and over 100 activities each year.
YRF works closely with Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. to provide medical service dogs to our wounded heroes. 22 military veterans commit suicide each day, but there has not been a single suicide to date from a dog recipient. The cost to train a dog is around $22,000; a donation of that amount will sponsor a dog. To watch a short video about Guardian Angels, click here.
Vito A. Pampalona also created a book, video and audio library and snack pantry four wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He gives patients new clothes and holds annual "Uncle Vito" Christmas parties with generous gifts. Since 2003, over 4000 wounded heroes have attended his yearly parties and has extended to include Fort Belvoir.
YRF is proud to say 83 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to wounded service men & women, and their families & caregivers.
All contributions are 100% tax deductible as the Yellow Ribbon Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization.
