Catalyzing Millennials to Give Back

Hello!
My name is Nicole. I'm a millenial and passionate about making a difference, but as a recent grad, I've been faced with the big question of how to live a purposeful and impactful life. How do I make a difference as a young professional? How much difference can I actually make if I don't have a million dollars to donate? This past year, I've been volunteering my time with an organization called YCore to figure out these questions for myself.
YCore (learn more about us here ) is an organization that is made by millenials for millenials. It inspires and equips young professionals to engage in social impact work and philanthropy at an early stage in our career by providing high-impact philanthropic
opportunities, social impact events, and a network of like-minded people to support us in our journey to create sustainable impact in the communities around us.
Through YCore, I've had the chance to conduct research on the intersection of technology and philanthropy and partner with a food incubator program to raise $30k for their membership program. Beyond practical skill building, these experiences have afforded me a greater opportunity to connect with the communities around me, grapple with societial issues, and has challenged me to ask myself how I can make a difference with the little resources I think I have. I've learned that it doesn't take a google amount of money to affect change. The resources I have already - time, a bit of money, curiosity, skills, and my network - is powerful enough to be the change I want to see.

is an expression of my gratitude of organizations like YCore, and is an example of how I am using my resources (and what i've learned thus far) to make a tangible impact.
My Ask: $5, $100, $500 -- what ever you can give, please give! What ever you're able to contribute will empower other young professionals in their journey of life long giving/philanthropy, which will inspire another, and then another....
Your Impact: YCore is aiming to double its reach in 2017 (a total of 60 fellows, and 12 projects). Your donation will help YCore achieve this ambitious goal by providing critical funding for curriculum development and program facilitation.
