THE STORY: Ten years ago, Arizona Veteran Pat Farnsworth was very busy in her military career using her special gift and passion in training military dogs for combat. The first dog she handled and helped train was a 2yr old German Shepard named Bbogie. Over the course of his training, Pat and Bbogie bonded deeply and eventually were separated when Bbogie was deployed to combat.
Pat never forgot her experience and time with this special dog. She often wondered what became of him and began to search for information. Pat joined a Facebook group called Military Working Dog & Puppy Program and made a post about her search for Bbogie. Out of the tens of thousands of posts and comments, as life would have it, Bbogie’s last handler saw Pat’s post and replied. Pat learned during the course of Bbogie’s military career he had been promoted to Special Forces and had finally been retired at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Bbogie is now 12yrs old and Pat has made the necessary arrangements to adopt Bbogie so that he may live out the remainder of his life with someone who loves and celebrates him.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Bbogie has saved and helped many American soldiers in combat. NOW HE NEEDS THE PUBLICS HELP! On such short notice, Pat cannot afford the fees needed to bring Bbogie back home to Arizona and we are hoping you will donate whatever you can to help both Pat and this honorable Canine hero Bbogie. THIS IS URGENT! PAT MUST PICK UP BBOGIE FROM FORT BRAGG IN THE COMING WEEK!
