A week ago, my car seized up on me, and I had to sell it from scrap. My friend, Barry, literally rescued me from the streets. Things have been pretty desperate since I lost my place at the end of February. I have been rousted by the cops 5 times. But I have remained positive and productive.
Groundswell, my novel, is over 3/4 complete at 1,680 pages. I have done over 500 pages since I have been in dire straits. I have lived up to the commitment of all my supporters who have been behind my efforts. I can really see the daylight.

Groundswell has been the foundation of my money-making projects. It has sharpened my writing skills. It has revealed a deeper understanding of psychology. It has given me organizing principles to help me deal with my other challenges.
I still have not made up ground from some career setbacks in February. For now, things are moving ahead.
I have remained busy doing work for money; however, circumstances have been difficult. I don’t want to slip down any further. I need to have a fighting chance.
