Fighting Lupus for Tharoneisha Calloway

My daughter Tharoneisha a.k.a. “NEMA” was first diagnosed with Lupus August of 2017, at the age of 25, but she is now 26. She’s had good days and bad days struggling with working 2 jobs and raising her 2 year old son, Chase. A week ago, she was hospitalized because they found blood and protein in her urine. She has undergone a kidney biopsy which found scarring on her kidneys. She will now have to undergo 6 months of IV treatments that will lower her immune system and not allow her to be in certain atmospheres or around sick people. Unfortunately she currently works in the health care field, so this is a major problem, as her way monetary means are to care for others with ailments on both jobs. To make matters worse, while she’s been here at the hospital, they discovered that she’s had several small strokes. She was immediately placed in ICU where she remains until further notice. The money needed will go towards helping up keep her bills while in the hospital and upon recovery, help with her son, and her medical bills because we JUST learned that her health insurance won’t kick in until next month with her new employer, and it’s very possible that she won’t even have a job, after this journey. No one ever prepares for such life altering events, and this has definitely been one for us. Putting this truth out here has been very hard to do, but understanding that it takes humility and humbleness, (just as the Word says) so; in order to walk by faith & not by sight is what we are leaning on for understanding & not our own thought process.
