Sila's Charity Fund for Children

Sila Amelia Montoto passed away the morning of June 25th. Not only did we lose someone all of us found precious in one way or another, but we lost her rather suddenly  and much too soon. We lost a beautiful daughter, mother, friend, and humanitarian.


My mother loved helping others in need. Whether it was through her teaching, philanthropy work, her wisdom, or laughter, she helped pave the way to those who needed guidance  and love. Sila Amelia never shied away from loving others. She loved wholeheartedly and with persistence and passion. 


Our mother was an advocate for children's education and always respected the power of medicine and good health. For this reason, we chose to help advocacte for children in need (medically and educationally) with your kindness, in honor of Sila. 


Your contributions will help fund "Shape a Future," a cause through UNICEF to help protect children from preventable diseases, illnesses, and infections all the while creating an oasis of learning for children reeling from traumatic experiences.
