 ROSEVILLE, CA
On Saturday, June 27th our family lost a member very near and dear to our hearts. Alden suddenly left us while on a camping trip with his Boy Scout troop.

With a heavy heart this fund has been started to help relieve some of the cost the Brock family may endure during this time.

Any donation will go directly to Roger, Cindy and Russell. And all donations are greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions, I am Rogers niece, Kira. You are more than welcome to contact me.

You may also donate directly to:

Boy Scouts Troop 380 (Alden Brock Fund)
C/O Don Dier
9216 Starina Way
Sacramento, CA 95826

Thank you for your generosity.

We would like to thank each and every one of you. Your prayers and support shined a bit of light on the darkest of times. Alden was a bright light in our lives as well as anyone who ever had the privilege of knowing him. He will never be forgotten and will forever be missed. We are so proud of the young man he had become. Here's a peek of his short life and our amazing time with him. Enjoy and again thank you!

On behalf on the Brock family, we wanted to thank each and everyone of you. We are so grateful for all your kind thoughts and prayers. It has definitely made this a little bit easier.

You all are so very generous and I cannot express how thankful we all are.

As of Sunday, July 12, I will be taking this down. This will allow Roger and Cindy to have some time to grieve as well as the rest of us. Your donations and support have been amazing.

Alden was such a sweet boy and would have given you the shirt off his back to keep you warm. I know this is making him so proud to see the love you all have given to the family.

For those who would like to come and give their respects, the service information is as follows:

Thanks again for everything

Dear Cindy, Roger and Russell, I am Tammie's cousin, April, and I want you to know I have been praying for you and have not forgotten the road you walk. I had the privilege of meeting Russell at our house when Tam and Joey came over, and he represented the love and forever attachment your family holds - nothing can ever sever the bond of family - not even death - in fact sometimes it strengthens. You are loved and know I care and am so sorry for Alden's death. He is not forgotten. I continue to pray for you. Love, April

My son and I were in Philmont that week hiking on a trek very close to where this tragedy occurred. It was a scary couple of days for everyone and the destruction we saw was unimaginable. My family and I send our condolences out to the family and the troop of this young man. May the Lord grant you the peace and strength to get through these hard times.
