The Show Must Go On

Royal Canadian Theatre Company brings professional quality theatre to the people of the Vancouver Area. Each season is filled with exceptional live family theatre brought to life by Artistic Director Ellie King. This year they are introducing a “relaxed performance” of their renowned Christmas Pantomime, scripted & technically developed specifically for people with developmental disabilities, including autism and sensory overload issues. Recently, one of their trailers which included props, sets, and scenery, was stolen from Langley and the contents were damaged & abandoned on the roadside. The trailer has yet to be recovered. RCTC is a non-profit charity & operates on a very limited budget. Their insurance will cover most of the lost and damaged goods, but the deductable needs to be paid. I am calling upon the theatre community & those who enjoy live theatre to help out RCTC and contribute what we can to help pay their insurance deductable, so they can continue to bring us family theatre.
