Help Us Help One of Our Own

As many of you know Gloria Ruiz is one of our very own at The Shop of Pleasant view. A few weeks ago Gloria was scheduled to have a minor heart surgery when things went awry.  During the surgery the surgical team found a hole in Gloria’s heart and  things took a more serious turn.  Due to this condition they were unable to perform the needed surgery and Gloria is left still trying to recover and allow the hole in her heart to heal.  Being the trooper that we all know and love she returned to work just two weeks after this incident.  But this is proved to be much too soon for Gloria’s body which is trying to recover. Her brisk return to work was due to the need to make ends meet and cover exspenses in order to live. As self employed hairstylist we unfortunately do not get paid days off or sick time. So we are reaching out asking for any sort of help that anyone is able to offer.   Our goal is to cover Gloria‘s expenses for the month of June and July to give her enough time to rest and have the proper surgery needed without the worry of finances. We greatly appreciate any donations and we know she will as well!
