Family of 5 in Need

My family of 5 and 2 dogs were recently misplaced out of our home due to a car accident that has left our house condemmed. Lucky, everyone was able to walk away and our 3 children were not home at the time. As for the time since then, we havent been as fortunate. The accident occurred around 9pm so by the time we were done with the police, building inspector, firemarshalls, etc. We were not able to get in touch with the correct people to provide us housing or anything else. Lucky we eere able to sleep on someones floor, but still only had the clothes on our backs and a packed diaper bag. While still trying to go to work, we were able to get in touch with them the next morning, and were booked a hotel through March 19. At this point, it still hadnt really sunk in that my childhood home and our current home to 3 young children was condemmed, we couldnt go inside for anything. No toys, no medicine, no clothes, nothing. People assurred us that the insurance will take care of everything and itll be fixed . What wasnt discussed was the amount of phone calls and length of time to not only fix our home but reimburse us for our expenses. They still have not gotten a definate time frame, but we have heard anywhere from 4 month to a year for the house to be fixed. And for expenses, they will not reimburse till the claims case is closed. This broke my heart. All of my kids toys and belongs locked in the house while my kids have no toys or anything to keep them entertained in such a small occupancy but a handlefull of things that we keep in our vehicle. All of our clothes that were in our laundry room (our basement) ruined from water damage not only from a burst pipe but also from the electric being turned off and our basement flooding. We have spent hours on the phone trying to get things resolved and find a solution to help us with this unfortunate event that has taken place. During this time we are asking for help and asking for donations but as for the donations we would rather have the items needed then the money at all. We are excepting anything that will help us in this rough time such as clothes for the kids, my husband, and myself toys for the kids, personal hygiene products, bathroom essentials, and food which can be can goods, baby food, almost anything.
