After The Fire For My Mom

As many of you may know already, my mother lost her home last night, July 4th, due to a devastating fire. My mom and her beloved dog, Darby, made it out safe (thank goodness). It was determined that her house will be condemned due to too much damage. With that said she has lost everything; clothes, furniture, appliances, Darby’s belongings, most of all... irreplaceable memories. 

Until you have gone through this, the devistation is unmanageable. We have a very small support system within our family/friends here in Westchester and are doing everything in our power to push through. I am here to reach out to my friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances for some much needed love and support. 

I take great pride in the community that I live in now and know that  the support system that I’m surrounded by is the best out there.  I’d like to think money can’t fix everything,  however, with a devistating loss like this... my mom will
have to get back on her feet sometime soon (clothes for work, food, necessities for her dog, personal hygiene needs and so on).  

Any help would be so greatly appreciated.  Any amount of money or Facebook shares would never be forgotten. I will be forever grateful. I know that my mom would be overwhelmed by the support and forever be indebted to anyone’s hospitality. Words are very difficult to put together right now so I will leave this here in hopes to help her start a new beginning.
