Hope for Tammy

Donation protected
Hi everyone, I would greatly appreciate it if you all took the time to read this. I’m making this GoFundMe page in hopes to help someone very special to me. My aunt, Tammy Hamsher was diagnosed with a severe neurological disorder called Chiari Malformation in November of 2013. She had her first brain surgery in 2014, but the neurosurgeon had removed too much bone, causing her brain to slide backward and her cerebellum to lodge into her spinal column. She had a second surgery in 2015 to install titanium mesh and screws to hold up her cerebellum. Since this second surgery, there has been major neurological damage, causing her to be unable to work for the past 2 years due to this disease and the many other health conditions it brings with it.
Since having the first surgery, her heath has declined drastically. She has gastroparesis (her digestive system is slightly paralyzed), severe chronic pain, fibromyalgia, Diabetes 2, a non alcoholic fatty liver, and much more. She has suffered from 36 seizures in the month of September alone. She’s in chronic pain and has health care workers come in daily to assist her with everyday tasks.
In the midst of all of this, she has never lost her faith in God and is always reminded that God has a plan for her. Despite all she goes through on a daily basis, she’s always thinking of others before herself. I admire her faith and her courage to keep fighting, despite the immense pain she suffers through everyday.
She had long term disability, but at the two year mark, they dropped her. She had a court hearing in October for SSDI in which she had two seizures and was not able to finish, so her lawyer had to finish the hearing for her. Unfortunately, a decision will not be made until the end of January and if approved, it will be some time until she would get her first check. She has been without any money for months now. She loves the apartment she lives at now, and has made it her home. She will be evicted in a week if she can’t pay the rent for December. I’m asking for help from anyone who can donate money for her rent and utilities to keep her in her apartment through February. Hopefully she is approved for SSDI and can stay in her place.
My Aunt has already lost so much to this neurological disorder, it breaks my heart to see her lose any more. She does not want to have to move back in with family members, especially during the Christmas season. If you could find it in your heart to donate ANYTHING at all, it would be greatly appreciated. And if you are not able to donate, please help by sharing this post. It would mean the world to me if I could help her pay her rent for these next few months, and possibly even have a little extra money for her to buy a few Christmas presents for her daughters. God, her daughters, family, and friends is what keeps her going through this tough time. Thank you all so much.
