Mobile Art Classes for Everyone

My mom was in a nursing home for the last year of her life, during that time nearly every day with her, I met amazing people whose large lives had shrunk to the size of the facility, away from the rest of the world. I am a gallery owner, artist and teacher. I would like to bring art to these people's lives and other's lives who are not independant or mobile by simply sharing my skills and joy that making art brings.
I have been teaching all this past year and working without budget or benefactors. Ultimately my dream is to create a mobile art school that would allow me to travel where ever needed to share the opportunity to create with one's own hands. (would take about $14,000 to buy, insure and stock for 6 month of materials)
For now, I am asking for your help in covering the basic cost of students in classes. I break the cost of one student in one painting class to be about $16.00, we generally host 12 - 16 students and meet every month. As much as is raised will go to expanding out further into the community and supporting more students.
It was while I was teaching my first class at a nursing home rehab center, I guided a blind man, recovering vietnam vet, artist recovering fom stroke and using his non dominant hand, woman in her 80's who made her art project 'for her mom' who was 100 years old and the sweetest aged art diva who no longer had the motivation to utilize her incredible skills. These were just a few in the class, but they had touched my heart with their positive reactions and appreciation. I have been back there, and would like to establish even more facility connections. These places are strapped for any kind of discretionary funds, I need to find ways to bring them supplies.
