I am reaching out for some assistance for a beautiful 13-year-old girl named Tyler, from Hauppauge who was born with an extremely rare and complex group of cloacal exstrophy and a tethered cord . Tyler does require more surgeries until she is fully grown.
Tyler”s insurance is not approving her medical supplies that she needs on a daily base. We have been waiting for over 7 months for an approval for her supplies to be covered. just got notified they denied it again .
The latest things that has been going on With Tyler is that she needs to have two surgeries . The first one is on her back for a tethered cord (7) and the the other is on her foot . surgery for her back is scheduled at John Hopkins Children’s Hospital . The doctors here in NY sent us to John Hopkins to see what we should do next because of all the pain she has been having . She has had way too many surgeries in 13 years, 65 of them
