Cameron Emery Road to Recovery Fund

For those of you who don't already know, one of our employees, Cameron Emery was involved in a serious ATV accident on Sunday June 21st. He was flown by stat medevac to Hamot Medical center in Erie with severe head trauma, collapsed lung and a severed carotid artery. Doctors did not expect him to survive the night however, by the following Monday afternoon his condition was stabilized. Each day his condition has improved (some days more than others). He has been scheduled for a tracheotomy soon in order to avoid pneumonia commonly associated with oral ventilation and he is also scheduled for facial reconstruction surgery on Tuesday June 30th.

I've only known Cameron for a brief 7 months but in that time I've found him to be nothing less than a phenomenal individual. He has an incredible work ethic, a magnetic personality and he rarely goes anywhere without a smile on his face. As I fill in on his route, a large portion of my day is spent updating the many friends he has made along the way regarding his current condition. I believe this is a true testament to the type of individual Cameron is.

Cameron faces a long and expensive road ahead filled with what I suspect will be multiple surgeries and ongoing care for some time to come. At just 21 years old (22 now, his birthday was June 24th) he closed on his first house and was planning to move in this coming weekend. I want to be there to help him move into that house and I want to see the smile on his face when he does. Any financial assistance you can provide to help defer his medical costs and personal expenses during his recovery would be greatly appreciated by him and his family. Thank you.
