This family is willing to work with his behavioral problems and accept him as family! Thank you for all of your help, we could not have done it without you!!!!
Xurc was once apart of our family about a year and a half. At that point, we had to place him with another family because our jobs did not allow us time for him. Xurc was brought into a shelter as a stray on October 26th, 2017. Since his previous owners never changed his chip information we were contacted. He previous owners cannot be found and we cannot bring him back into our family because our lease (ends in April) does not allow dogs.
The shelter he is in will not keep him because he shows aggression toward other dogs. The lady at the shelter said if he says there he will be KILLED. I have until November 3rd to retrieve him.
Besides Xurc not being well with other dogs he has a great personality, loves people and loves to be cuddled even though he is so big sitting on your lap. He has tons of energy and loves to run off into woods and return. Xurc has joined our family on walks in the woods and enjoys swimming in lakes. He also gets so excited around people he doesn't know what to do with himself... its funny.
I am looking to raise money to be able to pick him up (holding fees from the shelter he is at now) and to be able to get him the training he needs to be good with other dogs and then place him in a forever family. During this time I will have to pay for boarding fees, food, and a training program for however long he needs. I will not let this shelter kill an innocent dog that was once a part of our family because they do not want to take the chance on him.
Please help me rescue Xurc! Anything will help.
