Save Jaxson's Weiner! (Blocked Cat)

Donation protected
In college, back in sophomore year, my roomates and I made the decision to adopt a kitten from the shelter. We picked the runt of the litter and named him Jax, now Jaxson because he's older.  He was super shy at first, and loved to lay around.

He used to follow me everywhere, even in places he shouldn't be.

We even taught him how to wear sweaters, even though he probably hates it.

Two years have passed, and now Jax is now all grown up.  Even though he still is silly most of the time.

The roommates left, but Jax stayed and its been us ever since,

Anyways,
two nights ago, Jax's  manparts stopped working. (Urinary tract blockage caused by  crystals.) He needed immediate treatment to allow him to pee. One surprise $300 vet bill later, and Jax seemed to be okay, albeit a little out of it from pain meds.  Unfortunately,  the problem is not fixed and the bloackage is still there.  He needs hospitilization and multi-day treatment, I called around to every vet and shelter I could think of, trying to figure out alternatives. But the end of the day, I was given two options:

A) Spend at minimum $2000 to treat him.
B) Euthanize him.

It was one of the worst decisions I have ever faced.

Jax is currently at the VCA Animal Hospital in Sacramento, where he is being treated.

The problem: This is sudden, and extremely expensive. The vet estimated treatment at over $2,000 to save this little love's life. I've spent already $300 out of pocket and put down a deposit for the hospital.

This is the low end estimate. If there any any complications at all, or he needs to be re-addmitted, this will go up. Without any financial help, I cannot keep him alive by myself. I am raising any funds I can get to help offset his vet bill. The only other option would be to euthanize him.

The good news: I am told by the vets that with sucsessful treatment and a special diet, he will live out another 15+ healthy years of annoying everyone daily and successfully hunting bugs in the house.

You might know him as Jax, or as Jaxson, or as "the Badass", or "I'm going to bite your hand off if you toiuch me again." You might only know him by degrees or not at all.

Whatever the case he, and I, need your help. I would not be asking if I did not feel backed up against a wall. I am asking you, my community, to help Jax in a time of unexpected need.

It doesn't need to be much. If you've gotten this far, please consider donating to Jax the equivalent of a latte, a happy hour beer, a movie ticket, a date night out - whatever you can spare - and help me save this little furball's life. Every bit of charity will help pay for his care. Not only will you have my personal thanks, you are entitled to unlimited cat therapy from Jax for the rest of his working life. Whether your want to play or snuggle or put him in a sweater,  he will be there for you!

All proceed go directly to his vet bill. Thank you for reading, you have my gratitude. Please help me save Jax!
