Jimmy Thomas Liver Transplant Fund

Jimmy Thomas (pictured on the left with his two sons and father) on June 9, 2014 was diagnosed with Alpha1 Antitrypsin. The disease started out as lung disease about 6 years ago (undiagnosed at that time) and over the years became active cirrhosis of the liver. Jimmy has been hospitalized three times, suffered with spontaneous peritonitis, takes 20 different medications daily, experiences horrible boughts of fatigue and memory loss. He has also lost 80 pounds this past year.  We have been told he needs a liver transplant or will only have a year of life left. The hospital informed us this week that Jimmy is being denied placement on the transplant list until we can raise at LEAST $5000. Integris Baptist of Oklahoma City WILL not grant his lifesaving transplant without the moneys raised first. They do not want us to worry or stress about funds during his quarentine period after the surgery. I need to raise this money to save his life, so my sons still have their father. Please help.
