Rick & Ambur Meyers Medical Fund

This is Chris & Lindee from RW Custom & Besst Realty Group.  Rick is a valued employee at RW Custom.  Rick & his wife Ambur went down to Cancun for a get away with friends.  The second day there (yesterday February 2) Ambur had what they thought was a severe anxiety attack.  After further testing , they found that she had suffered a mild heart attack.  She was admitted to ICU during the night and is not doing well.  We did arrange for her to fly back to the states on a flight this morning (February 3), but since they have admitted her to ICU and things have gotten worse, they will not let her fly. So they are still in Cancun at the hospital and Ambur needs immidiate surgery to have a stent placed.   Unfortunatley Rick & Ambur have no health insurance.   The down payment of $10k was required before they would even do surgery.  Fortunately this was paid by a generous friend.  They will do the surgery some time today.  The surgery will cost $50,000 to $60,000 and they will not release her until it is paid in full.  They are looking at a 3-4 day stay, but it could end up being a week or longer depending on her condition and also whether the bill is paid in full or not.  We are hoping through the help of friends and family we can raise this amount so that Ambur & Rick can go home to their 4 children.
