As many of you know this has been a long and grueling battle.
In May of 2012 Renee was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Multiple Myeloma.
Multiple Myeloma is a cancer of your plasma cells, a type of white blood cell present in your bone marrow.
In early 2013 she underwent an Autologous Stem Cell Transplant which put her into remission for 24 months.
In Early 2015 her cancer returned and more aggressive than ever.
In January of 2016 she had an Autologous Transplant (her own cells) followed by an Allogeneic transplant (mismatched unrelated donor) in March 2016.
Due to complications with GVHD (Graft Versus Host Disease), Immunoglobulin therapy and Immunosuppressive therapy
she will have large and sometimes uncovered medical and/or prescription costs.
Any help to relieve this financial burden is greatly appreciated. It has been a long battle and we are still in this marathon of a fight!
