"For Jake"

Donation protected
Jake Mosansky: we all saw him as this happy, larger than life guy. He met everyone with a big smile and an even bigger hug. Jake was a very hard worker, enjoyed being around people, and was always trying something new. That is until a Traumatic Brain Injury changed his life and Jake as we once knew him.

He tried so hard to overcome these new obstacles, but as you may know, Jake (John Robert Mosansky) passed away on Saturday March 12, 2016. He succumbed to his illness, depression, that was a complication of severe TBI which he suffered in November of 2011.

We have come to learn that what Jake was struggling with is not rare. The aftermath of a Traumatic Brain Injury leaves victims with so many "invisible" illnesses. The medical community is fighting to get Post Traumatic Brain Injury Syndrome (also known as PTBIS) to be a classified term. Because it is not yet recognized, many sufferers are not getting the treatment needed nor are they being recognized as having a disability. This caused Jake to accrue much debt and financial stress. It weighed heavily on his heart and already hurting mind.

So many people have asked what they could do to help, so we have set up this GoFundMe account for anyone wishing to donate money to ease the financial stress and help Jake's soul rest peacefully in heaven.
