Journey From College To Pro

Xposure Basketball USA  was founded in 2013 in order to give elite rookies and high level pros an additional opportunity to showcase their skills as they seek jobs all over the world.  Our team works dilgently throughout the year to assist college graduates during their transition to the professional level.  Every year we produce an invite only showcase in the greater Los Angeles area called Xposure LA (XLA).  Our main focus is job placement for players while keeping costs (entry fee, travel, lodging, food, etc.) as low as possible.  We stay local to an area that many of these future stars reside and/or train during the offseason.  Every summer, we are one of the most affordable showcases out there.  

Deshawn Stephens (XLA14-XLA17)

In the last 4 years, we have maintained a success rate of over 50% (XLA participants receiving professional contracts) and have placed 6 players in the G-League.  David Nwaba, from the XLA 2016 class was the first XLA player to ever to become a Gatorade Call-Up as he earned back-to-back 10-day contracts with the Los Angeles Laker. David finished the 2016-17 season having played 20 games with the Lakers and is now witht he Chicago Bulls.

David Nwaba (XLA16)

As Xposure LA gets ready for year 6, we continue our emphasis on helping graduating seniors such as David earn themselves a fair chance at the pro level.  As many of you know, these NCAA student-athletes are NOT paid while in college.  Between practice, shoot arounds, weights, traveling, games, class, studying, homework, tutors and having a fraction of the average college social life, the daily schedule of a student-athlete does not allow much time for a part-time job like their classmates.  Once you graduate from college, the new gear, the all expenses paid trips, the per diems, the game day meals, they all disappear.  Many of these former student-athletes are now just athletes with a degree with little to no money, hoping for a chance at a career in the competitive world of basketball.

Who: Your financial support helps these young men achieve their dreams of playing professional basketball.

What: 100% of the money raised on Go Fund Me will be used to sponsor these hand-selected players for Xposure LA 2017.  Our “Goal” covers all 32 players entry fees, which in turn pays for the facility use, NBA caliber referees, lodging/food (players & coaches), staffing and equipment for the event.
