BMW for Easter Seals of Iowa

Now training full time, I am focusing on the upcoming Des Moines Triathlon and am looking for help to get funds for Easter Seals of Iowa.
I previously worked for Easter Seals of Iowa, a non-profit organization serving persons with disabilities. In the short time I worked for this amazing company, I was touched by so many of the persons supported and still keep in touch with the staff and clients. 100% of funds I raise through this campaign will be given to the Easter Seals of Iowa Life Club adult day services.
Also through this campaign, I hope to bring awareness to the community about this organization and hope to start up and adaptive triathlon racing team where members of the Des Moines Triathlon club will tow, pull and push adaptive athletes through a triathlon so that they can experience the excitement of racing that we all get to enjoy, that they may never have the opportunity to do otherwise. It is my dream to give these athletes the joy I feel when racing and believe it is about time Des Moines can offer this experience.
The mantra I follow when I compete is — “Don’t stop. Never give up. Have faith.” Please, don't stop donating, never give up on this population of people, and have faith in me as I race for them.
When not competing Iwork as a CNA and soon to be LPN at HCR ManorCare in West Des Moines, and is studying to be a Registered Nurse. I am thrilled to be on this journey with BMW of Des Moines and hope to be an inspiration to all, both on the race course and off.
